Studio You Design exists because of a simple moment of clarity during a very unclear time.
Like a lot of people, the stillness of COVID brought a chance to pause and ask what actually mattered. For us, the answer was design : specifically, the way a considered space can make people feel settled, grounded, and at home. What started as a personal passion quickly turned into something more. One course led to a job inside a residential building company, and that experience changed everything. Suddenly design wasn't just about how things looked, it was about how they were built, specified, documented, and delivered. We never looked back.
That background is what makes Studio You Design different. We've worked directly inside Australia's building and furniture industry, which means we understand the process from both sides of the table. We know what happens in a colour appointment, what gets rushed, what gets regretted, and how to make sure neither of those things happens to you.
But the part we love most has nothing to do with documents or specifications. It's the moment a client walks into their finished space and it simply feels like them. That feeling, of a home that fits - is what we're working toward on every project, from the very first selection to the final layer of styling.
